NEW STORE ALERT! Big Retailer Coming To Southern Utah!
It was announced earlier this year that Bed Bath & Beyond has filed for bankruptcy and will be leaving Southern Utah. They liquidated their products and are now closed down. But what about that location? It's a huge store next to Best Buy! Well, we FINALLY know what Store will be filling in!
BURLINGTON!
Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory is an Off-Price department store, similar to TJ Maxx and Ross Dress For Less. Burlington has just under 1000 stores worldwide, and soon St. George, Utah will be home!
This shopping Center in Washington will now be home to Burlington, Best Buy, Kohl's, Ross Dress For Less, In-N-Out Burger, Del Taco, and more.
Burlington has bought up the Bed Bath & Beyond leases and will be filling them, along with other retailers. Burlington, Barnes & Noble, Michaels, Havertys, and more. The Southern Utah location is going to be Burlington.
Southern Utah Restaurants That NEED a Second Location!
We've got some absolutely KILLER restaurants here in Southern Utah! But... Sometimes you go to those restaurants and it's SO PACKED! It takes forever to get seated or to get your food. They're so busy, why don't they open ANOTHER location somewhere in town?! Here's MY LIST of AWESOME Southern Utah restaurants that REALLY need a second location!
Durango's:
Yes, Durango's. It's my FAVORITE of the Holy Trinity (Cafe Rio, Costa Vida, Durango's). There's Cafe Rios everywhere now, and Costa Vidas keep popping up all over town too! It's time to give Southern Utah a SECOND Durango's location! (Yes, there used to be one in Hurricane, and it went under. It's now a Costa Vida.)
Angelica's Mexican Grill:
I've told the owner of Angelica's that we NEED a second location, and I actually do believe that someday we'll get one. But someday is NOT today! The parking lot at Angelica's is small, and it's always full. Plus, you're LUCKY if you show up at Angelica's and there's not a line out the door!
Island Grinds:
Island Grinds has a location in Northern Utah, and rumor has it... They're building a location in Cedar City! But I need one closer to my house in St. George. They've got the BEST Hawaiian food in town, in my opinion, and they're always packed when I'm in the store! Maybe Hurricane would be a good place to have the NEXT Island Grinds spot!
In-N-Out Burger:
I know, a lot of people have bad things to say about In-N-Out Burger... But the truth is: THEY ALWAYS HAVE A MASSIVE LINE! What if we had a second location off Sunset Boulevard? Or on the South side of town by Desert Color, RIGHT off the freeway?! That would be awesome!
Red Fort:
I received a tip from Brenden Meyer of St. George Word Of Mouth today that Red Fort is FINALLY getting their second location in La Verkin! That's perfect for people traveling to and from Zion National Park! Plus, Red Fort is always one of the HIGHEST RATED restaurants in town!
