Names that have been floated as possibilities consist of Blizzard, Outlaws, Yeti, Fury, and Venom. But do they truly fit for Utah? Some, yes... most, no!

SALT LAKE STORMIN' MORMONS:
We're all thinking it... Let's just go for it! I mean the University of Louisiana at Lafayette are the Ragin' Cajuns! Come on... It makes sense right?
UTAH DOORKNOCKERS:
Alright, if we want to stay away from the word "Mormons" then let's just go with the "Doorknockers." All the fans can show up in suits and name tags. Fits the area pretty well, right?
UTAH POLYGAMISTS:
If it's not "Mormons" that people are thinking, it's DEFINITELY Polygamists. How many times has someone asked you how many moms you have, after finding out you live in Utah? It's absolutely happened to me!
UTAH MAVERIKS:
Maverik is trying to take over Utah! Maverik is a gas station here in Utah with the slogan "Adventure's First Stop." But if we went with the Utah Maverik's, our mascot could be the meth head that can be found outside of nearly EVERY Maverik in the state!
UTAH GENERAL CONFERENCE:
In the LDS religion, they've got a big meeting twice a year called General Conference. Every year I get to make the same joke: "Who is General Conference? The leader of a Mormon army?" Let's go with that! The mascot could an old man who has achieved the rank of General, last name: Conference! PERFECT!
SALT LAKE CITY SAUCE:
My absolute favorite one on the list! Here in Utah, we love fry sauce. It's the mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise and it's amazing. We dip fries in it, corn dogs, even grilled cheese! Everyone in Utah knows and loves fry sauce. Let's just go with it: The Salt Lake City Sauce! Plus... This uniform is INCREDIBLE!
