How Much Does a Utah Swig Location Make Everyday??

We're all addicted to something.

For my gym teacher it was Clarissa Explains it All on DVD.

For others it's smoky cheese.

Still others are into drugs or model airplanes.

But for most of the rest of us it's that sweet yam-yam better known as Methyltheobromine or for those not currently looking at Wikipedia...Caffeine.

Swig is a Utah staple that helps deliver the citizenry its daily dose of caffeine.

And according to franchisetimes.com (LINK TO FULL ARTICLE)

"The initial investment required to open a Swig shop ranges from $504,900 to $1.1 million, according to its franchise disclosure document. Unit volume among company-owned stores in 2023 ranged from $574,553 to $1.65 million. Swig opened 14 stores last year, two of which are franchised."

So the median unit volume revenue is about $1,112,276 per store.

So if there's 261 work days a year (excluding Sundays) that means they're bringing in around $4,261 dollars a day!

So it takes a big initial investment to get one a store, but on average you're making most of it back in one year which is pretty good.

And I know Swig has a lot of items that have no caffeine, but that's the big seller.

Caffeine helped us get out of the dark ages. Before caffeine we didn't think of the wheel or magnetic door stops or Led Zeppelin. We were idiots. Nobody could read or write. Everybody thought the sun was out to get us. The only consumer product was mead.

Then somebody discovered caffeine in tea leaves and we were on the moon a couple of decades later. Aristotle discovered math. Shakespeare wrote his little plays. Da Vinci drew that 6.

The point of it all is caffeine is the most important chemical, if in fact it is a chemical, that we have ever known.
