2025-2026 WAC Schedule Brings Excitement For Local Utah Fans
Basketball season may still be a ways away, but that can’t stop the diehard fans from anxiously awaiting their favorite teams most bitter match ups against some of their biggest rivals.
Their are few rivalries larger than conference rivalries and the Western Athletic Conference just released their conference schedule showcasing just that, including both Men's and Women's meetings for the 2025-2026 season.
Making the rivalries all the more meaningful is the fact in which, this will be the last season that the WAC exists as we currently know it.
In regards to local schools, Utah Valley is headed to the Big West in 2026 as Utah Tech and Southern Utah join up with the Big Sky in that same time frame.
This could make the meetings between some of these schools all the more impactful as they see each other as “conference foes” for only one more year
The full schedule can be found in the links below:
WAC play will start as soon as December 29th this year and will do so with a bang as SUU visits the Trailblazers in St. George on the men's side, and Utah Tech travels north to Cedar on the women's side.
Utah Valley’s teams will start the year with California Baptist with the men in Orem and the women in Riverside.
It wont be long after that Utah Valley will welcome Utah Tech up north on January 10th, whereas the lady Trailblazers will first see UVU in St. George that same day.

The Wolverines and T-Birds first meet up in Cedar on January 21st with the women playing the very next day in Orem on January 22nd.
This of course is just the start of these rivals battling in conference play, for the full schedule we recommend clicking on the links in the tweet above to be sure you have your “must see” matchups circled.
