When I was in college I worked at a place called Logan River Academy in Cache Valley. It was a residential treatment facility. Parents would send their kids there as a last resort. Kids who were on drugs, or addicted to Pokemon, or who were getting into fights...the parents tried helping them, tried getting a therapist, private schools, wilderness camp...and the kids would manipulate the parents and guilt them, and nothing would work.

So as a last resort, the parents would ship the kid to Logan. Where a bunch of ex-Utah State Football players who worked there would just take care of it. Heck Wild Bill worked there. And the kids would show up and realize this was a whole new ball game. The old tricks weren't going to work on these guys. It was a no non sense environment.

Why Pittsburgh Will be a Sanctuary for Rodgers

It's kind of like what Aaron Rodgers is doing. Rodgers, treated Green Bay like a bunch of schmucks, tried to guilt trip them for drafting Jordan Love, acted like a baby, ran off, went to New York who had a desperate, tired coach who would let him get away with anything. Show up whenever you want, go on darkness retreats, make fun of us every week on the McAfee show, look down on our the whole organization.

But now Rodgers is going to the Steelers. The Steelers don't put up with anything. Antonio Brown was the best receiver in the league, he was getting into fights with big ben, whining, boom get the heck out. Le'Veon Bell! Wanted more money, tried to hold the Steelers hostage, they didn't fold, he went off. Nobody heard from him again. Santonio Holmes won them a super bowl, but got caught doing drugs, gone. James Harrison, same thing, Steelers legend who wen t off the rails, they said beat it! George Pickens, grow up you're out.

They don't have a desperate coach who can be pushed around. He's gonna be there until the polar ice caps melt. Rodgers isn't going to be able jack around this franchise. Maybe he's ready to grow up.
