Funniest Names Chosen to Honor Grandparents 

A question was asked on Reddit about the weirdest grandparent nicknames ever heard. There are some doozies. One respondent noted how it can be dangerous when the grandkids come as whatever comes out of their mouth can become your new nick name. 

MizzGee says “My favorite was an uncle who was christened 'Crappa', because his grandson couldn’t pronounce grandpa, so he was called Crap for years.” I do not want to have a nickname related to the toilet.

TheNobleMoth said her older sister said ‘Ging-Ging’ instead of grandma and it eventually turned into ‘Kinky’. I wouldn’t want to wander around in public with a little kid calling me that name, much less when she grows older. 

Upbeat-Ad-5678 called their grandparent “The Prune”. That seems disrespectful.
