Cook Your Holiday Meals Altogether

With your friends and relatives coming for Thanksgiving dinner, you want to make sure the food is top notch. You may want to do something special with the turkey like smoke it or fry it. Maybe it is time to take it up a notch.

I’m not talking about the turducken. That’s where you put a chicken inside duck inside a turkey and cook them together. This would be great if everyone liked duck. The other problem is trying to cut a piece that has all the good meat. I've got a better suggestion.

You Might Wow Them or You Might Scare Them

This is the year of the turham. You can probably figure this one out. You put a honey cured ham inside the turkey. It’s perfect. You get the two traditional meats together and every slice is perfect because there is only one kind of meat in ham.

This innovative cook produced the turham. You can find the story and the recipe here. They removed the bones and legs of the turkey so you can slice the thing through both meats. This is sure to make your meal memorable for all the guests.

To me this seems less weird than the turducken because all those birds swallowing each other just feels wrong. But a turkey that chomped a pig seems more natural. It’s kind of like the green beans with those fried onions on top. They kind of go together.
