Jon Oglesby Named Utah Summer Games Director

Jonathan Oglesby has been selected as the new executive director of the Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games, and will officially begin his appointment on June 1, 2023.

“We are thrilled to have Jon at the helm of the Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games,” said Southern Utah University President Mindy Benson. “His extensive experience will help the Games reach new heights and elevate our partnerships with sponsors, athletes, teams, and communities across the state.”

An experienced sports director, Oglesby previously worked for the Utah High School Activities Association where he served as the sports director for basketball, cross country, lacrosse, tennis, and track-and-field.

Oglesby is a graduate of Dixie State University, and has also worked with the Big Sky Conference, and as a play-by-play announcer for southern Utah high school sports.
