The Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games (LHM USG) has announced a new partnership with the Utah Department of Cultural and Community Engagement (CCE) for the 2025 program year. This collaboration will enhance the annual event by integrating cultural and volunteer opportunities for participants and spectators alike.

According to a press release, CCE will serve as the presenting sponsor for the Summer Games Serves initiative through its UServeUtah division. This initiative, which began in 2024, supports community service efforts, including contributions to the SUU Food Pantry and the Iron County School District Foundation. In 2025, the program will expand statewide, encouraging athletes and attendees to engage in service projects across Utah.

Several CCE divisions will also play a role in key Summer Games events, such as the “LHM USG Opening Ceremony, presented by State Bank of Southern Utah.” These additions will provide attendees with enhanced cultural experiences and engagement opportunities.

"It is a privilege to partner with the Utah Department of Cultural & Community Engagement on opportunities to align the Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games with civic engagement,” said Jon Oglesby, executive director of the LHM USG, in the press release. “We are hopeful this is the start of a long partnership.”
