New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson has become the latest big name to enter the transfer portal, according to ESPN 977 reporter Lawrence Junior, positioning him to leave the Big Apple after just two seasons with the Jets.

Wilson, 23, says he intends to transfer to a program known for its "high-octane" offense and one that best suits his skillset.

"While I appreciate the opportunity I was given with the Jets franchise, it's become clear to me that it is time for a change." Wilson said. "I will be entering my name into the transfer portal."

The transfer portal has filled up with big time names, especially at the quarterback position, since it opened up on December 5th including former USC quarterbacks Kedon Slovis and J.T. Daniels (again), Texas' Hudson Card and many more.

"I'm not sure where Zach Wilson will fit into that list," said 24/7 Sports expert Donnie Stern. "We know he won big games in 2020 and I'm sure somebody will be willing to give him a scholarship."

Wilson has made it clear he hopes to land at Utah Tech University in St. George, Utah.

"They play the style of offense that I flourish in. Plus there's a ton of hot girls in St. George," Wilson said. Plus, I hear they will be going FBS soon and I look forward to showcasing my talent at the highest level."

Utah Tech wasn't immediately available for comment, but unnamed sources say that "Wilson would have to earn his spot. Vic Gobalis threw for over 300 yards a game and 12 touchdowns in his final 4 games of the season, and his QBR tripled what Wilson's was in New York.

Satirical article. This is all fake. Thanks for reading.
